On February 16, with the participation of teachers, administrators, workers, students and the community, an emergency evacuation drill was carried out at the school in order to prepare the members of the school community for possible situations in which they might be at risk. The activity was organized by the Pyde Coordination and developed by Civil Protection personnel.
With different activities the U.E.E. Gral. Carlos Soublette celebrated the Carnival party, counting with the participation of the school community, in addition to the presence of the Supervisor, Prof. Julio Pérez and the ombudswoman of the municipality Tórbes.
Everything seems to indicate that Carlos Mauricio Iriarte will finally be elected governor of Huila this Sunday. But I think it was worth the anxious wait. In none of his previous aspirations had he reached the candidacy with such a strong support as the one he has now from all political parties.

But if Iriarte is intelligent, he will know how to take advantage of this ‘regional unity’ for the good of the department. In this way he will have a clear path to undertake the great transformations and works that Huila needs. He will have the full support of the Huila congressmen to reconnect Huila with the development poles of the National Government and private enterprise.
