Serve and protect 1052

Julia is a woman who, at present, lives a life that her mother and her future husband have planned for her. When she is about to get married, she discovers a big family secret that will change her forever. On the verge of a nervous breakdown, she decides to separate from them. Julia finds refuge in a remote village in the mountains of Madrid (Robledillo de la Sierra) where she will have a complicated mission: to take control of her own destiny.

Dos vidas has received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Mikel Zorrilla of Espinof gave it two and a half stars out of five, praising the series’ ability to make the two plots complement each other but citing the individual plots themselves as «the bare minimum in terms of plot», concluding that, although the series is «an effective telenovela», it will not change his negative opinion towards daily series. [7] Víctor Juste of El Televisero was much more positive, praising its «ambition» within daily series and comparing its technical bill to that of a weekly prime time series.[8] Fernando S. Palenzuela of FormulaTV was positive of the melodramatic element of the series and of its attempts to differentiate itself from other period series, as well as putting the focus on a cast composed mostly of new or little known faces, although he was skeptical of the more comedic part of the series.[9]
