mortadelo

Between 1965 and 1970 a series of animated short films about Mortadelo and Filemón were made, produced by Vara Studios.[16] Although the animators’ intention was to create a television series, they did not have the capacity to make as many episodes as the medium demanded, so the 16 short films that were created were divided into two movies[17] (see Cinema section), each short film has an approximate duration of 6 minutes. They are independent and original, since they are not based on any comic strip that has appeared so far.

The comics have also been taken to the cinema with real characters in La gran aventura de Mortadelo y Filemón, released in 2003, directed by Javier Fesser and starring Benito Pocino in the role of Mortadelo and Pepe Viyuela in the role of Filemón.[20] His second film, Mortadelo y Filemón, was released in 2003.

His second film, Mortadelo y Filemón. Misión: Salvar la Tierra, was released in 2008 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the characters. Pepe Viyuela repeats as Filemón, but Mortadelo this time was played by Eduard Soto (known for the character of El Neng de Castefa) due to disagreements with the actor who had previously played the character, Benito Pocino.[21] The film’s second film, Mortadelo y Filemón, was released in 2008 as a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the characters.

Gone will be the classic Santa Claus dressed in a very warm red suit, as he will have to change to flowered Bermuda shorts to adapt to the weather. And, of course, he will also have to leave the reindeer sled behind and get on a surfboard.2.

The terraces, so beloved today, will have to get rid of their umbrellas to leave them to the donkeys that pull the plow, because it will be impossible for the animals to work the fields without being covered from the sun.4.

The AVE is over, because people will inevitably stop using it, considering that cars run faster than the high-speed train. And the reason is none other than tornadoes, which will be the ones pushing vehicles through the air.5. Where it always rains, it will always be sunny, and vice versa.

A classic more than real, rainy climates will cease to be rainy, and the same with the sunny ones. Drought will reign in places where it used to rain a lot, and those accustomed to the heat and sun will have to buy umbrellas every day.

(«rana») o A.B.U.E.L.A.

The building and several of the characters that inhabit it, such as the shopkeeper, the thief, or the concierge, made the leap to the big screen by appearing in some scenes of the movie La gran aventura de Mortadelo y Filemón, based on the best known characters of the author. In the movie, 13 Rue del Percebe, is the building where Filemon’s mother lives, having as neighbors the characters of the cartoon.

In May 2010 the house and its tenants were the protagonists of an advertisement for the well-known soft drink brand «La Casera» by the advertising agency GREY. This ad was directed by Javier Fesser who already took them to the movies in the Mortadelo and Filemon movie mentioned above, although unlike then in which only a few of the characters appeared, this time almost all the classic neighbors of the building are represented.
